The Kingston Irish Folk Club is a community based organization dedicated to the promotion of all forms of Irish culture.
You don't need to be Irish to join, all you need is an interest in the culture. Everyone is welcome to participate in the Celtic get togethers whether they are a beginner or a professional musician/singer!

The Kingston Irish Folk Club runs a number of Irish Dance classes as well as organizes monthly Celtic get togethers, which include Irish, Scottish, and East Cost Canadian music. We also take the lead in organizing a number of community events such as St Patrick's Day Parade, Celtic Cultural Festivals, etc.
Kingston Irish Folk Club has taken a lead role in erecting a number of Celtic cross monuments in and around the Kingston region. We organize a number of commemorations ie. to the estimated one thousand five hundred Irish and Kingstonian victims who died during the Irish Great Starvation.

We have also taken a lead role in erecting a number of monuments, including Celtic crosses, to the estimated one thousand Irish labourers and their coworkers who died building the Rideau Canal.
